Nadia Tebai
Chief curator of heritage
Nadia Tebai is the chief curator of heritage at the National Institute of Heritage of Tunisia (INP). She has more than 10 years of experience in archaeology and heritage within the INP. Since 2012 She has been in charge of supervising the work of the INP at Tataouine under the direction of the regional inspector, including a team of 23 people within restoration sites Ksour (attics). As a member of the National Computerized Site Map of archaeological sites and historical monuments she gained knowledge of GIS and archaeological surveys. She has also participated in several international projects, such as “Training in Action2” in cooperation with INP-Durham University and UCL, King's College London, including training on archaeological site management and photogrammetry. She holds a master's degree in heritage science and technology. Her research master's degree in 2009 at the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis focused on "contribution to the study of the coralligenous: setting up a database”, followed by an internship in archaeo-ichthyofauna at a Paris museum. Currently, she is a doctoral student on the techniques of ancient construction in the region of Tataouine.
