Mahmoud Hadia

Researcher - Archeologist

Mahmoud Hadia (Department of Antiquity of Libya) graduated from the faculty of archaeology in 1997, after graduation he worked in the education sector, before joining the Libyan Department of Antiquities in 2012. He was involved in several projects related to the documentation of the Archaeology of Libya, were he was involved with different tasks, mostly as a project manager and trainer. He was a supervisor of the “Conservation of Historic Photographs in the Red Castle” project, a project funded by the U.S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation, in cooperation with the Libyan Department of Antiquities and Oberlin College. He is currently Head of the Archaeological Survey unit since 2016.
